Welcome to my “Work in Your Own Time” dressmaking course — designed for complete beginners and sewing enthusiasts looking to enhance their skills. In this course, I'll walk you through setting up your sewing space, understanding your machine, and learning to understand your body shape and type and what garments that fit and flatter your body shape. Meet Your Instructor, Mette Sølvtoft Baillie Nikolajsen
Join me on a journey to master the art of dressmaking. Some of my earliest memories are about clothes and fabrics and textures. This inspired me to make my own clothes from 9 years old, and then to study design and start my own couture business in 1998. I now have years of experience, a love for clothes and a passion for teaching, I'm here to share my expertise and guide you through creating garments that showcase your individuality. Let's embark on this creative and empowering learning experience together.
